Lily's First Christmas!

It's official! Lily's first Christmas was a huge success!

We started our celebration at my Aunt Linda's for dinner on Christmas Eve. In attendance were Devin's mom, my mom, Devin's sister Deanna and her boyfriend Rob, my sister Melissa and brother Derek, and of course Devin, Lily and me. Lily enjoyed the dinner immensely and had a lot of fun watching the adults hang out. Unfortunately, my camera was being funky, so I was only able to snap this picture of Lily enjoying her dinner:

The next morning, Lily was up before the sun (6:40 am, which was e-a-r-l-y for Santa and his helpers because they were up late wrapping!), but all the family had arrived by 8:30, ready to open presents! Lily and Daddy got to enjoy some of her unwrapped toys while we were waiting for everyone to arrive. We got to celebrate our big Christmas morning with Devin's mom and dad and his sister Deanna and her boyfriend Rob. My mom and sister stopped by a little later for breakfast and more gifts.

"Whoa, look at all of these presents!"

Lily loved her ride-on toy!

After a yummy breakfast cooked by Aunt Deanna, it was time for a quick nap and then on to my Dad's house to celebrate Christmas with my Dad, Stepmom, Grandparents, Aunt Linda, and my sister, brother, and stepbrother Thad. It was definately a big day and there was more food to munch on there. Lily has been spoiled by table food this week, she refused her jarred baby food while we there but scarfed down the banana pudding!

It's a Tickle*Me*Elmo*TMX!!!

The whole family is exhausted and the house is littered with toys, but we all could not be happier. It was a wonderful first Christmas for Lily and we are so grateful she could spend it with her family. The Denton/Thompson clan would like to wish you all Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year to come!
