Happy Turkey Day!!!

Lily's first Thanksgiving was officially a success! We hung out with family and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Lily even sported a Thanksgiving outfit -- her t-shirt says "My Little Turkey."

In attendance (from left to right) were: Devin, my brother Derek, sister Melissa, Devin's Dad Dan, and my Aunt Linda. My Mom cooked for us and was not in this picture, because she was standing next to me taking pictures too.

Lily got to feed herself bread rolls, turkey, and steamed broccoli. Mommy fed her sweet potato casserole (my personal fav) and mashed potatoes. She's getting good at feeding herself and loves to try new things!

Well, most things....

She even shared with Daddy...

After dinner, we headed to Dan's house and scout out his garage. He has a garage full of stuff that is about to get thrown out, so we had to see if there was anything we needed. We found a steam cleaner for our carpet and a brand new set of tupperware. My Mom got a china hutch and an antique table. Anyone need a bike rack?

Lily got to play with her newest toy: A baby grand piano that belongs to Dan and it is coming to live in our house. I'm so excited...er, I mean, Lily is so excited! Check out Baby Mozart:

Lily picked up a new milestone this week! She can officially point. She kept pointing to the dogs and says "Da-ee" copying me saying "Doggie." I love the pointing thing, it means she is directing my attention somewhere. How brilliant! Here she is pointing to the horse:

Lily also got to meet her Aunt Deanna's horse, Whisper. Since horses have no nerve endings in their manes and tails, Lily was free to tug away and the horse was just happy for the attention.

The Denton/Thompson clan had a wonderful Turkey Day and we are hoping that everyone reading this did too!
